This is the new risk worth watching. Some brands take a creator video, run it through AI to change the words, face or voice, then publish it, sometimes without telling anyone. That can cross into synthetic-content territory that legally requires disclosure and it can misrepresent you. Protect yourself: add a clause stating whether AI modification of your likeness or voice is allowed and that you must approve it. Trimming and color grading is normal, face-swapping and voice-cloning is not the same thing. This is general info, not legal advice.
Know the new risk
Brands AI-altering your footage and publishing it is happening. Watch for it.
Editing is not altering
Trims and color are normal. Face-swaps and voice clones are a different line.
Add a likeness clause
State if AI changes to your face or voice are allowed and require your approval.
Disclosure can apply
Heavily AI-altered content may legally need a synthetic-content label.
