Brand deals on Instagram follow a clear niche and content that proves you move people. Pick one lane, lean into Reels since that is what brands watch for reach and pin a few posts that show results. Then stop waiting. Pitch ten brands you already use with a short note, one result and your rate. List yourself where brands search so the inbound starts too.

What brands look for on Instagram

They check fit, engagement and whether your audience acts, in that order.

Own one niche

A clear lane makes you an easy yes. Mixed feeds confuse the pitch.

Lead with Reels

Reels carry reach right now, so make them the proof in your pitch.

Pitch, do not wait

Inbound is slow at first. Ten warm pitches a week changes everything.

Pin your three best posts with real numbers in the caption. When a brand checks your profile that is the first thing they see.

Reels got me noticed way faster than feed posts. Brands DM you when a Reel does numbers in their niche.

Tag brands you genuinely use in organic posts first. Half my paid deals started as a brand noticing an unpaid tag.
