I want to start with gifting. How do I reach out to brands for free products without sounding like I am begging?

Lead with value, not the ask. Show you already use and like the product, share your niche and engagement and offer specific content in return like two posts and a story. Keep it short. Gifting is the on-ramp, so deliver well, tag the brand and use that proof to ask for a paid deal next time.

How to pitch for gifting

Gifting is a trial. Treat it like a paid job and it becomes one.

Show genuine fit

Mention a product you actually use so it reads real.

Offer specific content

Name the deliverables. Two posts and a story beats vague.

Turn gifting into paid

Over-deliver once, then ask for a paid rate next round.

I treat gifting like an audition. Best content of my month, on time, then I pitch paid two weeks later with the results.

Offer raw footage too. Brands love it and it sets up a paid UGC conversation fast.

Keep the first email to four lines. Long gifting requests read as desperate. Short reads as in demand.
